Lights, motors, action.

A kinetic sculpture exploring intimacy through interaction, built in under four weeks by merging machine learning, robotics, and mechanical design.

When two people join hands, the machine perceives their gesture and responds — two robotic arms glide toward one another, their silver ribbons brushing together in a quiet, reflective dance.

Laser-cut acrylic and soft, quivering materials echo the dimensions of a vanity mirror, inviting viewers to see themselves — and each other — in motion.

The choreography of movement draws inspiration from Julio Le Parc’s luminous kinetic works, where reflection and motion invite presence and touch.

Co-creation with Gruffydd Gozali and Yacob Sitorus.
